Produced by ThrdCoast Media, Stories from the Stage takes an intimate look inside the current state of independent venues in New York City during COVID-19, interviewing venue owners, bookers, and promoters in their shuttered spaces. This series asks arts workers to reflect on their favorite concert moments from their venue, as well as express the difficulty of withstanding a total shutdown of their business during the pandemic. SFTS provides insight into this moment for venues and promoters and hopes to remind audiences of why these spaces are so integral to the fabric of our city.
